(04/21/2009) When Coach Mike Weckwarth's tennis team opens the 2010 season at home against Florence on Tuesday, they will no doubt be the youngest varsity team Grissom has ever had in any sport.  Grissom's two most experienced players (and the only two returning from last years Section 8 championship team) are freshman Richard Trieu and eighth grader Kevin Sommers.  Newcomers in the top six singles spots include eighth graders Taylor Ausbon and Chase Moran, and seventh graders Grant Ginsberg and Will Talbert.  Although they don't have an abundance of high school experience, most of the players spent last summer and fall honing their skills by playing tournaments.
